For those of you who don't know John Baxter's work, this Single will serve as an apéritif that will send you immediately to read his other works, such as "The Golden Moments of Paris" or "We'll Always Have Paris." For the rest of us who own his books, this short work is an amuse-bouche.In short, this Kindle Single is a wondrous and practical evocation of Hemingway's Paris. A Moveable Feast, one might even say. I've loved every John Baxter book I have read, and this is another one to cherish. I've been to Paris only twice physically, but each time I read one of his books I am transported back in a rich and engrossing way.
